Surgical Tech Certification
Certification is important if you want to become a certified surgical technologist. A lot of employers prefer to employ surgical technicians that are certified as compared to the non-certified ones. A two year accredited program giving a degree that ends in a multiple choice question answer exam is all it takes to get the certification.
Theory is as important as practical. Most certification programs about surgical technology teach you both. The programs include a variety of courses such as sterilization techniques, medical terminology, anatomy and practical experience. Practical experience includes clinical training that is supervised and internships.
