When God made a grain of wheat it was made right
A number of experiments with dogs and white rats have been made which reveal the fact that bread made from bleached white flour is destructive to tissue. Two dogs from the same litter were placed on a feeding test. One dog was fed on white flour bread and water, and the other was fed 100 percent whole wheat bread and water. In all tests made it was found that the dog fed white flour bread died in less than seven weeks, while the one fed whole wheat flour bread lived and thrived. In another test one dog was fed white bread and water and his brother was given water only. The one fed white bread and water died first, proving that white flour bread is more destructive to cell life than total abstinence from all food. Aloe Vera may be ready as a hundred% juice, stabilised with vitamin C. This is due to the fact that the starch, when digested, is converted into sugar, thus yielding an acid ash that without the neutralizing mineral salts becomes poison to the tissues. Similar tests might be made by feeding soda crackers, macaroni, spaghetti, cakes, cookies, and other white flour products, with like results for the same reason.

But one may say, “Isn’t it cheaper to mill whole wheat flour than it is to install so much expensive machinery to produce the bleached white flour?” The miller tells us it is. Then the question arises, “Why do they do this?” The answer is simple. The little insects called weevils develop in whole wheat flour within three or four months, depending on the time of year, which necessitates speeding up delivery to the consumer, but white flour will keep indefinitely and allow for any amount of speculation. If weevils were placed in a barrel of white flour they would die within a short time, consequently the little creatures leave the white flour alone just as human beings should do. Forever Aloe Vera crops are readily available and a few folks preserve a potted plant within the kitchen. It is interesting to note the cleverness of the millers who, with their expensive milling and bleaching machinery, produce the chalky white flour which sells at a high price, inducing constipation, and then sell to the sufferer from this malady, the bran at a still higher price, to cure the constipation which the white flour inflicted.
The old-fashioned white flour, ground on stone burrs fifty years ago, was robbed of the mineral salts to a certain degree, but that which millers of today are removing, is “highway robbery.” Fifty years ago the corn meal was ground on the old stone burrs but not bolted; today most of the corn meal is bolted, which process removes the germ and most of the vital mineral elements and vitamins. Devitalized corn flakes, from which the germ and oil with the vitamins have been removed, are another example. One would need to eat fourteen pounds of devitalized hominy grits to get enough calcium to supply the body requirements for one day. Thus we see the value of whole grain in its natural state. The natural ground whole kernel is wholesome.
